Party of Record Access to Court Records
Individuals that are directly involved in a case can now request access to immediately view images online. Examples are:
- Plaintiff / Petitioner
- Defendant / Respondent
- Guardian
Not all documents or Case Types may be viewable online. Access will be permitted to those cases & documents that have been authorized by the Florida Supreme Court in accordance with Administrative Order 2016-14 (AOSC 16-14).
Applications for access will not be processed if completed by a 3rd party or person(s) not directly involved a case filed before the Court of Sumter County.
Upon completion of your application please have it properly notarized and return to our office using the following available methods:

Application Process
It is the responsibility of the applicant party to provide a list of cases that they are requesting access.
Please complete the application below as required and a list of those cases that you are an active party to. A page has been added following the notary for this purpose. If you need assistance with obtaining a list of cases that you are a party, you can perform a Party Search using the Public Online Court Records Search Portal (OCRS).
On processing, your case list will be reviewed and validated as a Party of Record to the case. If the applicant information cannot be verified to be an active Case Party, this additional access will not be permitted.
