NOTICE OF MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Value Adjustment Board of Sumter County will meet on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.., at the Sumter County Courthouse, Historic Courtroom, 215 East McCollum Avenue, Bushnell, Florida, for the purpose of reviewing and confirming the recommended decisions of Special Magistrates with regard to petitions duly filed with the 2019 Sumter County Value Adjustment Board and attend to any other business of said Board as may be deemed to be expedient or pertinent. Any person requiring reasonable accommodation at this meeting because of disability or physical impairment should contact the Clerk of Court, 215 East McCollum Avenue, Bushnell, Florida, 33513, (352) 569-6629, at least two days before the meeting. If you are hearing or speech impaired, use the TDD telephone via Florida Relay Service, 1-800-955-8771 (hearing) and 1-800-955-8770 (speech).

Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the Sumter County Value Adjustment Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. (Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes).
