How to Apply for Passports

To Apply in Person

    • Have either a certified birth certificate; certificate of naturalization or a previous passport

    • Have proof of identity, a driver’s license, state I.D., or a military I.D.

    • Have one 2x2 picture with plain light background and taken within the past 6months  (we can provide these photos for a fee of $5.00) 

Passport Fees:

Passport Book (travel by land, sea or air):

$130.00 for ages 16 and over and $100.00 for ages 15 and under, with an additional $35.00 execution fee for each application processed. The $130.00 / $100.00 passport fee must be in the form of a check, money order or cashiers check made payable to the U.S. Department of State. The $35.00 execution fee can be in the form of cash, credit card or a local check, money order, or cashiers check made payable to The Clerk of the Circuit Court

 Passport Card (travel by land and sea only):

$30.00 for ages 16 and over and $15.00 for ages 15 and under, with an additional $35.00 execution fee for each application processed. The $30.00 / $15.00 passport fee must be in the form of a check, money order or cashiers check made payable to the U.S. Department of State. The $35.00 execution fee can be in the form of cash, local check, money order, credit card or cashiers check made payable to The Clerk of the Circuit Court.

PLEASE NOTE!  You can renew an existing passport provided it is not expired for more than 5 years.  Just pick up and fill out a renewal application (DS-82) and submit it with your  Passport, one (1) new photograph and the fee of $130.00 in the form of a check, money order or cashiers check made payable to the U.S. Department of State.  Mail to:  National Passport Processing Center. Please review the renewal application for the complete address and further information and eligibility requirements.

The average time for a passport to be issued is 10 weeks not including mailing. There is an expedite service for a fee of $60.00 per application average wait time is 6 weeks. An expedited passport is returned by Express Mail. We forward your application to the Passport Agency via Priority Mail $8.70 or Express Mail $26.95 added to the execution fee. The return fee for express mail is $18.32 which is collected and added to your payment at the time you apply.

(Adult: $130.00+$60.00+ $18.32= $208.32). (Child: $100.00+$60.00+$18.32=178.32)
